Each year, SafePlace, an organization that works to end sexual and domestic violence through safety, healing, prevention and social change, hosts a celebration during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The SafePlace Celebration features a keynote speaker who generates empowerment by speaking up against all types of violence and encouraging their supporters to be courageous citizens.
